Question
السلام علیکم و رحمۃ اللّٰہ تعالیٰ و برکاتہ
I’ve listen the Hadith about BA Amal Hafiz that He will take 10 such people to heaven on whom hell has become obligatory I’ve question that If this Hafiz committed some sin, will Allah give him this opportunity after punishing him to take such people to Jannah?

We have received your query regarding the intercession of a Hafidh, our response is as follows:
عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ وَاسْتَظْهَرَهُ فَأَحَلَّ حَلاَلَهُ وَحَرَّمَ حَرَامَهُ أَدْخَلَهُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْجَنَّةَ وَشَفَّعَهُ فِي عَشَرَةٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ كُلُّهُمْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ النَّارُ ”
Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever reads the Quran, memorizes it, regards it’s permissible as permissible and it’s impermissible as impermissible Allah Ta’ala will enter him into Jannah and allow him to intercede for ten family members, who were destined for Jahannam”. (Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2905)
Hadrat Mufti Saeed Ahmed Palanpoori rahimahullah writes in his Tuhfatul Al’mai Sharh Sunan Tirmidhi:
Many people mention the virtues of the Hafidh incompletely, the virtue of the Hafidh is based on two aspects: 1) To memorise the Qur’an well. 2) He practices on the injunctions of the Noble Qur’an.
Only then will the Hafidh acquire the above-mentioned virtue.
Furthermore, there is a Hadeeth in Abu Dawood, however the orators of the Ummat present this Hadeeth incompletely.
Nabi Sallallahu alai wa sallam has said:
Whoever reads the Qur’an i.e., memorises it & practices upon it, then on the day of Qiyamat his parents will be made to wear a crown which will be brighter then then the Sun! If the Sun was to be brought in your home, then how bright would it not be? This crown will be even more radiant than that! What then do you think about the Hafidh who practices upon the Noble Qur’an!
Hadrat Mufti Saeed Ahmed Palanpoori rahimahullah further reiterates that the above-mentioned virtue is when the Hafidh practices on the Noble Qur’an.[1]
With regards to whether Allah Ta’ala will punish such a person or not, this decision lies completely in the hands of Almighty Allah Ta’ala.
