(Fatwa: #001) Does my fast break if I take an injection?

Muhtaram عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته السلامحامدا و مصليا و مسلما We have received your query with regards to the ruling of ones fast after an injection:
The fast does not break if one takes an injection. Hence it will be permissible for one to take injections while he his fasting. The thing that it is introduced into the body by an injection is generally introduced through the veins and the effect of it does not directly reach the stomach and the brain (head), and passes by a way that normally the Fuqahaa (Jurists) do not call Manfaz (passage way like the mouth etc.). However, if the injection is injected directly into the brain or stomach (which is not the usual case), then the fast will be void.1And Allah Ta’ala knows best

واما ما وصل إلى الجوف أو إلى الدماغ عن غير مخارق الأصلية بأن داوي الجائفة والآمة فان داواها بدواء يابس لا يفسد لأنه لم يصل إلي الجوف ولا إلي الدماغ ولو علم انه وصل يفسد في قول أبي حنيفة- بدائع 93\2 انظر:إمداد الفتاوى 175\2، فتاوى دار العلوم زكريا 290\3، فتاوى محمودية 154-ج10-فاروقية-قديم، احسن الفتاوى 432\4، فتاوى رحيمية 39\2، فتاوى عثمانى-ج2-ص181
