Question
Salam Is it permissible to ask from people in grave? Do they hear from distance when we call them? And if they hear , is it permanently i.e whenever we call them they hear? And what kind of help they can do?

We have received your query regarding the dead and whether they hear or not, our response is as follows:
There is a difference amongst the honourable Sahaba radiyallahu anhum whether the dead hear or not. If Allah Ta’ala wills for the dead to hear certain things then the dead can hear.[1]
One should supplicate only to Allah Ta’ala for ones needs and not to the deceased.[2]
And Allah Ta’ala knows best
