Doubts on Islam

Selam aleykum dear brother/sister A friend of mine wanted to know about Islam , so I explained many Islam to him. This was 2 years ago and my friend still didn’t wanted to take the shahada although he believe in Allah. The problem is, he got many doubts about Islam regarding some views as he grew up in a Liberal German Christian family so he doesn’t understand some points. At some point he was close to Islam but with time he got more distant from it. He is believing in Allah but he doesnt want to be part of Islam as he can’t agree with some points. You should know that he is going trough a tough time , got some trauma from childhood , is very ill. He also feels alone in this situation as our friendship is only based online. My question would be , what advise you would give to this friend , to get a better understanding about these topics he is doubtful about rather than rejecting the whole religion

We are unaware of the specific issues which he has doubts about.  You can contact the Darul Ifta and mention the issues of concern and we will inshallah try our best to assist.  Continue to call him towards Islam and make Dua for him. Get in contact with your local Ulama and avoid delving and researching these areas of doubt on your own.
